If I could have it my way, my summer schedule would be full of Midland, Tx backyard photoshoots with barefoot families playing in the water hose and endless giggling. I’d photograph dad grilling burgers and mom applying sunscreen to her kids faces. We would capture the kids running through the water hose and dad getting over zealous; spraying them right in the face with a huge grin on his.

I’d take pictures of mom and dad stealing a kiss while the kids go crazy in the background. The dogs would join the fun too and if I’m really lucky, we will roast marshmallows at the end. The gallery would be full of messy melted marshmallow faces and cute little sticky fingers. There would be tangible evidence of how much you enjoy and love each other. That is my dream!

These photos are of my own little babe who loves being outside and in the water and constantly cracks me up. We made water balloons which he loved squeezing on the dogs and they loved it too. This was a short little session for my camera adverse toddler but they are photos I am for sure keeping forever!
