My heart for families comes from a deep love for my own. Most days, I feel like I am pouring from an empty cup but one cute grin from my kid or a kiss from my husband and my world is set right. All I want is for them to know they are loved, to have amazing memories, to love others and to put God first. Everything else is the good stuff in-between and it's in the in-between moments that our memories live. It's the morning rituals and the spontaneous plans. It's melted ice cream on dimpled fingers and snuggles after a bike wipeout. It's a dance party just because and it's a messy bathroom after a splashy bubble bath. It's grandma's cookies and bed time stories. It's a fort in the living room on a Tuesday and pancakes for breakfast. It's wild and crazy and beautiful and it's yours. Optional print products as add ons directly from your gallery with my hand selected professional print companies so your memories can be physical vs. digital.
Styling assistance (as needed/wanted) so we can bring the vision to life with location and outfit planning that works with your style/taste & photographs well.
All the best images in your gallery (typically 20 for a mini and 50 for a full) with no additional fees. *I do not provide the RAW files under any circumstances.

Through shooting lots of posed and lifestyle sessions, I have realized that lifestyle sessions speak to me so much more. I love capturing your first moments as a growing family in your home or outdoors just simply loving on your new baby.
Do you shoot posed newborn shots?
Of course! I am in the business of preserving love through imagery. Whoever & whatever you love are welcome! That being said, I do not offer traditional extended family sessions where everyone is stacked and smiling at the camera. When involving pets, I do simply ask that any aggressive pets be left at home and all pets should be managed by someone at all times for the safety of myself and others.
Can other family members or pets join us?
Such a bummer when someone gets sick or it rains. You're just SOL. JK! We will find the next best date for you. If this happens during busy season (spring & fall) I keep a couple of weekday evenings open just in case.
What about INCLEMENT weather or sick kids?
Don't stress! I start working with you on your styling about 4-6 weeks before your session so that we make sure you are ready to go! We keep it simple and true to you. If you aren't a dress person- you won't wear a dress! If your kids hate shoes- let's not even put them on! Are you catching the vibe? These are honest photos- the ones you actually want to look at forever.

I also accept payment plans which can be tailored to your family's specific needs. Just let me know when you fill out my contact form that you would like a payment plan for your session. All sessions must be paid in full by the session date.
Where does the session take place?
My favorite answer to this question is your home because that really is where everyone feels comfortable. That being said, it can be anywhere we choose. My only goal is that it's special to you. If you don't have a place that is photogenic- I will choose something magical for us to explore.

Our experience was amazing. Lauren took the time to make us comfortable and we actually had a really fun time. The kids even asked if we could do it again! Like what?!
